Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll using the UKG Ready (Ultimate Kronos Group) software. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll administration, including data entry, auditing, reconciliation, and compliance with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UKG Ready and a strong understanding of payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage end-to-end payroll using the UKG Ready software, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Enter and verify employee data, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, and deductions.
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies with appropriate documentation and record-keeping.
• Stay up to date with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes.
• Assist clients with payroll-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to data protection policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably using UKG Ready (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
• Proficient in using payroll systems, preferably UKG Ready, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle complex calculations and ensure data integrity.
• Knowledge of tax regulations, deductions, and statutory requirements related to payroll.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain payroll concepts and processes to clients.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
