Job: People and Organization Business Partner

Description:

The People & Organization Business Partner supports the local leadership teams to drive the Global and Regional people agenda, seeks to improve the People and Organization topics that will result in the successful operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner to site leadership team
  • People advocate seeking fairness and win/win results
  • Develop and interpret Braskem People & Organization policies and procedure. Be the subject matter expert.
  • Champion Braskem culture which fosters collaboration, meritocracy, and trust
  • Coach and counsel managers in employee relation matters like performance, discipline and personal development matters as well as recruiting and retention matters
  • Use analytics for workforce planning, demographic strategizing,compensation benchmarking and organization structure provocations.
  • Ensure legal compliance, by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
  • Responsible for creating unique experience through entire team member life cycle new employee orientation
  • Develop succession planning for key positions
  • Support community activities and responsible for employee activities including Wellness Program, Family Day and Year End Celebration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university; or associate degree in Business, Human Resources, Human Relations or related field
  • 5+ years related experience
  • 3+ years previous plant experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excited to continuously improve
  • A change agent
  • Capable of seeing short and long term outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office as well as learn new software program

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or process environment
  • ADP knowledge, Oracle HCM
