Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Housekeeper, under the general supervision of the Director of Environmental Services, is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with our mission statement, current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor and/or the Director of Environmental Services, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. All duties will be performed with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, volunteers, visitors, and other service professionals.

Required Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED required

2. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English

Desired Qualifications

3. Previous experience as a housekeeper in a long-term care facility or similar environment is preferred.
