Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center is seeking a results-driven Personal Assistant to the Executive Director for our fast-paced, small office in Sterling Heights. This position is for a dynamic, self-motivated and creative individual who will compliment the operations of the center in conjunction with Executive Director, including coordination and development of volunteer support, fundraising design, programming, public speaking, building community, and special events. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, have exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office, with prior administrative and customer support experience. Must be a self-starter, out-of-the-box thinker and detail-oriented with exceptional written, verbal and problem solving skills. Starting pay: $16/hour. • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with school districts, home school co-ops, local colleges/universities, and other institutions.
• Public speaking engagements
• Communicating with supervisor about needs, changes, and program performance.
• Calm and professional manner.
• Organizing meetings and appointments, controlling access to the manager/executive. ...

• Seek new partnership opportunities through research, incoming partner leads, marketing campaigns and open houses.
