Description:

As a PC Technician you will provide support to distributed PC/networking environment including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for stand-alone PCs, PCs linked to networks, printers, and other computer peripherals. Support responsibilities include software installation, and configurations. You will perform technical, operational, and training support to users of personal computers either by telephone, or on-site for PC desktop hardware and software packages. MAC experience a plus.

Job Duties:

• Required to install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating systems.
• Load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.
• Troubleshooting computer problems.
• Performing hardware and software diagnostics.
• Coordinating needed repairs.
• Resolving computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network.
• Participating in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizing and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of proper phone etiquette.
