Locally owned home infusion company is seeking a full timepharmacy assistant with strong skills to join our team. We are specifically looking for a highly professional assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We offer a positive work environment where all team members work together towards patient centered care.

Functions and Duties

• Communicate with other health care professionals and the public in a polite and appropriate manner
• Label individual prescription orders after compounding, under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Pulling administration and nursing supplies to complete patient order
• Durable Medical Equipment tracking, check out, cleaning, testing, returning
• Restock pharmacy with supplies and large volume fluids
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Cleaning and helping to maintain and sterilize equipment or work areas
• Assists with monthly inventory
• Work with the pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, flexible, has a positive attitude, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has some computer proficiency.

Requirements

• Washington Pharmacy Assistant license (license can be obtained after job offer and before start date)
• At least one year of pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Ability to attend to detail

Infusion Solutions is a locally owned and operated home infusion pharmacy that provides high quality, cost efficient, personalized infusion care to patients in the comfort of their own home or in our conveniently located infusion center. Our center has private infusion suites. We offer comprehensive home infusion therapies from antibiotics and parenteral nutrition to chemotherapy and pain management. These products are compounded in our state-of-the-art sterile clean room. Infusion care provided in the home or at an alternative site infusion suite improves quality of life for patients and their families. It can promote better health and in most cases is a less expensive treatment option. We serve patients in Whatcom, Island, Skagit, San Juan, and Snohomish Counties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
