Twin Cities Community Hospital, a 122-bed acute care hospital, has been caring for the communities of Northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Market Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible in supporting the planning and overall operation of all pharmaceutical services at both Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Twin Cities Community Hospital in accordance with Federal, State, local policies and medical directives. Provides leadership for pharmacy team, and reports directly to the Market Director of Pharmacy. Works closely with other Department Directors, Administrators and Medical Staff. Works closely with Tenet National Pharmacy Team.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the State of California in good standing.
- Five (5) years of progressively more responsible pharmacy experience is required.
- A Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate of Pharmacy highly preferred.
- The advanced analytical/problem solving skills necessary to develop and administer an innovative care delivery system within the confines of staff and budget constraints, develop overall policy and procedures for the division, analyze and evaluate patient care, plan staffing levels and patterns and so forth.
- The interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of Hospital personnel and with external parties, frequently in situations which are sensitive and/or of significance to the entire Hospital.
- The managerial skills necessary to plan organize, direct and control the operation of department effectively and delegate such supervisory responsibilities to qualified subordinates.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear, and speak. Should speak and write English fluently. Must be familiar with Joint Commission requirements and standards. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Pay Range: $79.39 - $127.02
