Title: Pharmacy Tech I - Materials Coordinator

Location: Monroeville, PA, 15146

Duration: 3 Months

Description:

  • Ensure pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
  • Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well organized manner.
  • Work with Inventory CDR to assist in receiving, posting, put-away, and cycle counting functions.
  • Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory.
  • Responsible for filing inventory.
  • Maintain the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner.
  • Receiving product into pharmacy including removal and disposal of packaging.
  • Checking product into SAP using RF scanner.
  • Putting product into correct locations by expiration dates to ensure proper dispensing.
  • Responsible for receiving inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances.
  • Responsible for the selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Manage return goods according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure proper inventory/stock levels are maintained/filled per CLIENT SOP guidelines.

Experience

  • 1 year professional work experience preferred in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds (team lifting OK).
  • Six months computer experience in a Windows based system/ Basic typing/data entry skill.
  • Pharmacy experience a plus but not required.
  • Certification for forklift operation if applicable for equipment
  • Must be able to learn and utilize computer applications (Microsoft office, excel, word, outlook) to communicate information, record data accurately
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to apply mathematical concepts (counting) to inventory functions.
  • Basic typing/data entry skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • This position requires the ability to prioritize and to manage time efficiently.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time.
  • This position could be physically demanding.

Position Summary

  • This position is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the assigned facility. ?Specific tasks would include but are not limited to purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.

Education

  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
