Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time - Variable Shifts

- Controlled drug inventory maintenance, IV preparation, unit dosing medications, and prescription processing.
- Accurate assistance of pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to both in-patients and out-patients. The technician works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Handles compounding and preparation of sterile and non-sterile liquids and solid dosage forms in accordance with USP Standards 795, 797, and 800. Sterile compounding is limited to lower risk preparations than a certified and specially trained technician.
- Processing of admittance, discharge and transfer of patient drugs.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of OSBP Phase II training.- Licensure/Certification: Oklahoma Pharmacy Tech License. Must obtain certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 12 months of hire date.
