Background information:
Southwest Family Phyisicians is a primary care clinic with 20 medical providers composed of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, counselors, physical therapist and acupunturist and licensed massage therapist. In the spirit of the clinic's comprehensive approach to healthcare, clinic director Dr. Gulick began creating a medical home for patients and their families 32 years ago. We take a holistic approach to health, an example of which is our medically guided weight loss program with a specific focus on lifestyle changes.
Responsibilities;
The phlebotomist verifies test requisitions, assists and prepares donors to provide specimens for testing. Retrieves specimens and prepares for laboratory testing. Also preforms screening procedures and updates electronic health record and billing systems. Maintains stock and cleanliness in work area.
- Enhances clinic reputation by providing excellent patient care
- Receives direction on policies and procedures from the Laboratory Supervisor
- Receives direction on workflow changes from ordering provider or Operations Manager
*Wages depend on experience.
Monday through Friday; rotate Saturday.
