The Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Adult Family Care Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently obtain a relevant health and medical history
- Perform a physical examination based on age and history and dictates a progress note if needed with the appropriate physicians
- Perform and/or orders preventive and diagnostic procedures based on the patient’s age and history
- Help the physicians provide screening, consultation and answers to incoming questions from referring physicians
- Identify health and medical risk factors
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and graduate of ARC-PA Program
License/Certification Requirements:
- Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants
- BLS from American Heart Association
Experience:
- 1 year Primary Care Physician Assistant experience
