Reliant Immediate Care Medical Group is searching for Physician Assistants to join our fast-growing team! We provide urgent care and occupational medical services at five urgent care sites in the Greater Los Angeles Area each with its own Physical Therapy wellness center to support our patients. Occupation Medicine training provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care and minor procedures.
• Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice.
• Accurately and thoroughly document your patient encounter and ensure accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
• Must be able to collaborate with professionals within the facility, other medical providers, and external agencies.
• Ensure the use of standardized and consistent Occupational medical procedures/processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Occupational Medicine and provide consultative advice and insight on unique medical cases, patient situations and/or client issues.
• Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services.
• Maintain professional communications by attending all required meetings, conference calls and responding to email, telephone or written communication in a timely manner.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• PA License
• Be available for Full-time

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient at performing variety of basic therapeutic procedures such as incision & drainage, wound care and repair, foreign body removal, and primary orthopedic injury management.
• Ordering and interpreting variety of diagnostic tests such as on site x-ray, electrocardiogram, point-of care and reference laboratory tests.
• Knowledge of medical policies, regulations and procedures.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Superior verbal and communication skills
• Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
• Ability to react calmly, objectively and effectively in emergency situations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail

Pay: salary range: $116,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure, with current DEA registration
• ACLS / BLS certification

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area at LAX, Downtown Los Angeles, Montebello, Huntington Park and Santa Fe Springs.
