About us:

• UP podiatry is a fast paced outpatient wound care center that specializes in treating diabetic and venous wounds below the knee. Our providers are highly trained podiatrists - specializing in all foot and ankle pathologies.

• We are seeking candidates that have experience, or have been exposed, to treating bloody, ulcerated wounds. Candidates should be able to multitask and provide high quality patient care to a large patient volume. We will provide training for identifying patients that are candidates for surgery, application of treatment modalities, and performing outpatient procedures.

• Candidates will be traveling between our clinics in San Bernardino/Fontana and Apple Valley to assist providers with follow up consultations, procedures, and prescription orders.

Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with Podiatrists to diagnose, manage, and provide comprehensive care to patients with pathologies below the knee.

• Perform follow up consultation on surgical debridement patients

• Apply Skin Substitute grafts on candidate venous and diabetic foot ulcers

• Assist with procedures such as nail avulsion, matrixectomy, orthotic molding

• Order and interpret medical imaging, labs, x-rays

• Identify patients that are candidates for surgery

• Prescribe medication and design treatment plans with providers and staff

• Request treatment modalities appropriate to each patient’s pathology and needs.

Requirements:

• Current CA NP/PA License

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Compassionate demeanor with patients

• Excellent team skills to collaborate with entire staff

• EMR experience (AllScripts Preferred)

• CPR Certification

• BLS Certification

Details:

• Full Time, Monday through Friday (40hrs/week)

• 1hr. Lunch

• Travel Required

• Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
