Our employees are what helps to drive our business in innovation, solution and products. Located at our plant in Prineville, OR, we are actively recruiting for an experienced manufacturing, Materials Planning & Inventory Control Manager, who will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and leading Production Scheduling, Material Handling, and Receiving

• Establishing and maintaining departmental production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, department procedures consistent with divisional/site goals, working with Strategic Sourcing teams to manage supply chain and key suppliers

• Implements defined replenishment strategies within the QAD ERP system

• Regularly collaborating with Operational Management to optimize production planning, detailed scheduling, and material replenishment process for maximum utilization of the plant facilities and resources

• Supports tactical supplier relationships and work with Strategic Sourcing teams to manage supply chain and key suppliers

• Reports out and action supplier on-time delivery and quality measures

• Helps and supports driving YOY supplier cost reductions, inventory accuracy improvements, & on-time performance.

• Developing targets, systems and procedures for balancing optimal inventory levels with customer availability and market leading lead times

• Driving efforts to continuously review and improve inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs as well as supervises the annual physical inventory

• Championing lean activity in direct support and relationship to facility and business needs

• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements

• Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery

• Supervise, evaluate and coach staff members

• Interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments

• Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications

• Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions

Your experience includes:

• Analyzes operational variances, extracts and reviews historical data, incorporates projected scrap allowances, production efficiencies, and on-time adherence while working with operational teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities ensuring on time delivery to the customer

• Proactively report, drive year over year supplier cost reductions, inventory accuracy improvements, on-time performance, and alignment of production schedule to ensure customer receives product on time

• Drive accountability with transactions

• Experience in MRP, master scheduling, operations planning, inventory management and configurable products

• Understanding of procurement management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business

• A minimum of five years of supply chain/materials/procurement management experience in manufacturing environment

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience required

• APICS Certification preferred but not required

• A thorough knowledge of product costing, budget planning, and make/buy analysis

• Must have previous experience using MRP systems, and be knowledgeable in routings and BOM applications

• Proficient utilization of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Superior verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
