Lincoln Provision Inc. is a longstanding full service meat company dating back to the early 1900’s in the Chicago Union Stockyards. Now, LPI is an evolved meat processing facility with an excellent reputation for high quality USDA inspected beef produced under strict SQF standards. Over the years our business has expanded to include not only meat packing, but also wholesale distribution, custom processing, and center of the plate products across various proteins.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Typically 2 Saturdays per month
• 6am and 9am start times
• Meal allowance after 10 hour shift
• 45-55 Hours weekly (OT Available)
• $500 bonus after 6-months

LPI is seeking skilled a highly skilled Maintenance Technician. Knowledge in all of the following areas is NOT necessary, but knowledge in at least some of the following areas IS necessary. Experience of 3-5 years in any of these fields is necessary.

- Industrial electricity (3 phase 240-480 volts)

- Ability to understand electrical diagrams

- Knowledge in general industrial mechanics – i.e. motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps.

- Vacuum packing machinery such as – Busch Vacuum Pumps, Booster Pumps, Cryovac Rotary Machines, Reiser Supervac

- Ability to Weld – TIG, ARC

- Knowledge of diesel mechanics and/or Thermo King and Carrier Trailer Refrigeration.

- Knowledge of electric forklifts, hi-lift reach trucks, and end riders.

If a candidate has basic knowledge in any of these areas above, and has excellent motivation to grow professionally, LPI would be a good fit. Candidate must have an eagerness to learn in areas that they are not familiar with. Seeking an individual who is eager, self-motivated, detail orientated, and is a team player.

Hourly Wage can vary greatly depending on knowledge.
