Job description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Maintain an acceptable level of quality control in supplying towels for all assigned pool areas while providing excellent customer service to our guest and members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Monitor the pool deck to ensure only guest and social members are using the pool area and remove anyone that is not a guest or member.
- Ensure all guests using the pool have no outside food and beverage in the pool area.
- Monitor and ensure that no guests utilizing the pool have and food or beverage inside the pool at any time.
- Monitor and empty all trash cans around the pool deck.
- Sort dirty towels, identifying any stained or damaged ones.
- Establish priorities to create a good workflow resulting in a more efficient pool operation.
- Inform supervisor of supply shortages.
- Must keep area free of debris and maintain workspace.
- Follow all changes in schedule as directed by management.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Carry out a reasonable request by management of which the associate is capable of performing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondences.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other team members within the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10”s and 100’s.
- Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
- Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to reach, bend and stoop and lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be available for a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED.- One year of related experience preferred.
