The Roger Bales Lab at UC Merced is looking for a self-motivated and highly qualified post-doctoral researcher to work on a collaborative, multi-benefit project aimed at scaling up climate solutions in California. The candidate is expected to undertake spatial modeling and analysis to built and natural infrastructure, including solar over open water canals and related investments. Applicants must have obtained a doctoral degree in a relevant environmental science, engineering, or social science area. Experience with relevant research, interdisciplinary projects needed. Knowledge of GIS and spatial analysis is required as well as strong written and verbal English communication skills.
