Powertrain Calibration Engineer - Temporary
Summary:
The main responsibility for the Powertrain Calibration Engineer for Emissions and Driveability is to develop the engine calibrations to meet LEV II, LEV III emission standards at the lowest cost while delivering world-class driveability.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the base engine hardware releasing groups, scientific labs and vehicle teams
· Develop and implement best practice design and calibration solutions
· Perform verification testing in accordance with powertrain system objectives
Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science equivalent
· 2+ years of experience in emission systems calibration development
· Relevant classes taken for controls, internal combustion engine, Hydbrid, batter/motor related classes
· Hybrid or electric vehicle calibration experience a plus
· Internal combustion engine calibrations a plus

Pay: $44.16 per hour
