We are currently seeking a full time Practice Manager to provide leadership and administrative management for our behavioral services. This position includes office-level leadership through planning, developing, and organizing the workflow; directing and evaluating the activities of the practice; managing the financial performance and promoting the practice within Meridian Health Services, as well as the greater medical community located in Delaware County.
Practice Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to day operations of the practice location(s).
- Provide and/or facilitate office and support staff functions.
- Assist with the administration of Meridian policies and procedures, assuring compliance at the practice level.
- Assist in the development of policy and procedures to improve patient care and utilization of clinical resources.
- Maintain providers daily schedules to meet productivity levels.
- Regularly review productivity standards and make staffing adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with Operations Coordinators for staff compliance with productivity standards, documentation expectations, CANS/ANSA completions, completing timely and accurate treatment plans and compliance with appropriate providers for insurance payer sources.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities for direct reports including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, performance appraisals and addressing performance concerns.
- Complete payroll functions for all line staff including approving paid time off and expense/professional development requests.
We are seeking Practice Manager candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field required.
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience in relatable field required; 5 years management experience in relatable field preferred
- 5 years experience in behavioral health required.
- Experience with grant management and psychiatry preferred
- Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.
