This leader will participate in all phases of the data and analytics lifecycle, including specifying data capture requirements, analyzing patterns and trends in structured and unstructured data to provide insights on projects that span all facets of the Enterprise. Take these finding and synthesize them into dashboards or presentations that convey insights and recommendations through storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and mastery of details. Additionally, this position will lead a team responsible for ensuring business partner needs are being met with the support of three or more analytics team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Set the strategy and tone for visualization, automation, and optimization as well as the vision for the future.
· Partner with Digital, Marketing, Product, and IT partners to evaluate the success of new initiatives.
· Collaborate with Fraud and Risk partners to identify and mitigate threats to Huntington assets.
· Interfacing with business leaders to; align resources to business needs, updates on the status of analytics support, and consult on data requirements and corresponding analytics deliverables.
· Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve and measure project success. Provide opportunity analysis, measurement plans, dashboards, and post-release/testing analyses.
· Create self-service dashboards for internal business partners to learn, understand, have access to, and derive insights from data, metrics, and KPI.
· Create compelling, intuitive dashboards to enable the business with critical metrics, with a focus on data automation, anomaly detection, and actionable data visualizations.
· Apply automation techniques to manual processes to create efficiency, improve accuracy, and build upon successes that create a suite of self-service assets.
· Work as a leader overseeing a large body of work and coordinating analytics support across one or more team members.
· Develop and mentor analytics professionals within the team and across the bank.
Required Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or STEM degree and a minimum of three (3) years of work experience in visualization/dashboarding,analytics, data process automation, or experimental design.
· In lieu of master's degree, bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years management experience.
· Developing and applying statistical or machine learning methods in a corporate environment through applications such as R, Python, or SAS
· Business intelligence and data mining tools such as BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, Tableau and Tableau Server, Alteryx, or SAS Enterprise Guide/Miner
· Programming languages Java or C++ in a data mining context
· Building web-based applications using HTML, CSS, Perl, and JavaScript
· Experience with web analytics tools and implementation - Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture SiteCatalyst), Google Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics (formerly Coremetrics), Webtrends
· A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.) and effective test design (establishing sample sizes, statistical significance measurement, etc.)
· Prior management experience of direct reports
· Extensive experience with programming languages R or Python
· Direct experience with SQL programming and large database applications such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SPSS, Teradata, and Hadoop
