We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our team.

Are you a Food Handler certification holder? No? We will train you and get you certified!

We are looking for employees that could have open availability. Shifts could run longer tahn 8 hours a day.

We are a temp staffing agency. This is not a 9 to 5 job. We can't guarantee 40 hours a week.

Maybe we'll be working more than 40 hours a week, but we can't anticipate that.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Prep Cook will be responsible for prepping ingredients, following recipes, and helping to ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the highest standards. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and comply with food handling regulations.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
