Highly trained teachers lead each child to reach developmental milestones, preparing the children for social and academic success.

Our client is looking for a motivated self-starter for an Assistant Director position at their state-of-the-art, Keystone STARS accredited school in Gilbertsville, PA. As an Assistant Director, you’ll be responsible for supporting the overall leadership of the center, assisting in the daily management of the program and directly own curriculum. Salary and Benefits:

· Compensation: Annual salary $35K-$40K pending qualifications and professional experience

Job Responsibilities:

· Program/Curriculum Development and Support

· Sales and Marketing

· Preschool Administrative Support

· Staff Support

· Community Outreach

· Physical Requirements: able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to walk, bend, squat or sit on the floor (with children) throughout an 8-hour day; able to physically respond quickly in an emergency

Qualifications:

All candidates who wish to be considered for the position of Assistant Director must meet one or more of the following education/certification criteria:

· A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field and at least one year of management experience

· An Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field and at least one year of management experience

· Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office Programs (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher)

· Excellent telephone manner, public relations skills, and previous experience in providing service to the public in an office setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
