About us

Little Feet Preschool is a small business in Colfax, CA. Our goal is to provide preschool education and childcare to children ages 2-9 years old. We specialize in kindergarten readiness and before/after school care for school aged children. We have operated in the community for over 36 years. Applicant should be CPR certified upon or shortly after hire. No experience necessary, but a general knowledge of early development and desire to care for and educate children is preferred. Job description does include some personal assistant duties under the business owner’s guidance. .

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Preschool Teacher to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have a background in education and a dedication to nurturing young students' social and emotional development. The successful candidate will help children learn and understand the world around them, and help them reach their maximum potential.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with other teachers, parents, and guardians.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Maintain order in the classroom.
• Work cooperatively with children, parents, and guardians.
• Be available to answer parents' questions about the child's progress in the program.
• Establish personal relationships with individual students on a daily basis.
• Provide general personal assistance to Preschool owner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
