The President - Transportation is a driven transportation industry professional attuned to the Transportation market’s specialized needs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree (MBA Preferred) from an accredited four-year college or university plus ten (10) or more years of related industry experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.

In This Role You Will Execute On:
  • Select, train, develop and evaluate performance for sales and service personnel for the assigned vertical ensuring an adequate pipeline of potential sales and service team members are identified to meet growth needs across Hylant footprint and nationally.
  • Support regional leadership with growth efforts by identifying and deploying on a team of dedicated professionals to sell and service a book of business for the assigned vertical/practice area.
  • Collaborate with leadership in the planning, budgeting, and expense management to support business needs within the assigned region and/or industry.
  • Represent Hylant within the assigned industry or practice area community to promote Hylant’s brand at local, regional, and national meetings and events.
  • In collaboration with insurance carriers and partners, build and design innovative and unique programs that drive growth and profitably within the assigned industry area.
  • Promote strategic collaboration within the assigned region and across the Hylant footprint to accelerate growth, continued viability and sharing of resources for the assigned vertical.
  • In collaboration with leadership, manage overall sales results and utilization of client engagement strategy and other best practices.
  • Manage financial plan and results, communicating and collaborating with leadership and staff to ensure strategies are employed to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with corporate resources to meet the needs within the region, keeping scalability in mind.
  • Assist in the development and growth of ancillary teams and services that enhance Hylant’s growth and reputation in the assigned industry.
In This Role You'll Need:
  • Bachelor degree (MBA Preferred) from an accredited four-year college or university plus ten (10) or more years of related experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the assigned industry marketplace regionally and nationally.
  • Business development/sales experience or external equivalent experience.
  • Creating strong relationship with executive leaders and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and ability to interpret current and future profitability and growth.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, Client Engagement Strategy and Miller Heiman .
