Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
Work with Brambles Digital, CHEP supply chain, and Customer stakeholders to understand customer supply chain and support necessary activities to ensure IoT Solution meets customer needs and is operational scalable. Be IoT Solution SME (Subject Matter Expert) and provide operational support dedicated to digital customer solution pilots and engagements during the life cycle of the IoT Solution.

SCOPE
This position will be responsible for executing physical operational activities for track and trace devices for Customer IoT solutions during the discovery, development, testing, and implementation phases. And be the operations SME to support customer needs during the use of the IoT Solution.

MEASURES
- Customer-ready IoT Solution per contractual timelines
- Operational scalability (operational costs, operational gaps, tech features and requirements)
- All operational SOPs and training are completed by contractual timing requirements.
- Provides good customer support in a timely manner. Use of customer survey may be used to measure this objective.
MAJOR / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support Customer Solution Team by learning the customers Operations and Supply Chain processes
- Become knowledgeable in customer Operation processes and Supply Chain pertinent to the IoT Solution. Provide assessments to Team on gaps, development needs, and risks.
- Support Solution development by communicating learnings and supporting additional tasks needed to assess viability of current solutions for targeted customers.
- Be Digital Operations Stage Gate to ensure Digital Solution Meets the operational needs of the customer.
Support all Digital Operation activities for Customer Solution
- Support the testing and validation of devices, solution features, and tools needed to effectively deploy devices in the customers operation and supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, BUs, and other stakeholders on device planning, delivery, and other device readiness requirements.
- Work with digital sourcing, product, and engineering team to identify any 3PL vendors needed to support short- and long-term operational activities and measurement in the vendor contract
- Support contract KPI development and other commercial activity related to operational cost to serve.
- Operation SME, provide operational customer service support throughout the life of the IoT solution.
Owner of Customer Solution IoT Operation Processes
- Learn Customer Operations and Supply Chain to identify development, risks, and implementation activities that will need to be included in IoT Solution rollout
- Become SME in by collaborating and working with Brambles Digital team to learn IoT solutions.
- Develop, Improve, and Implement SOPs and other documentation needed for successful customer adoption of the IoT solution. Includes TT&T planning and when necessary onsite train the trainer activities, in an iterative and repetitive manner based on staged deployments and goals
CHALLENGES / PROBLEM SOLVING
- Working remotely with customers and team members in international locations
- Learning customer operations and supply chain and assessing IoT Solution needs to meet customers’ needs, potential limitations, and impacts
TRAVEL
- Must be willing to travel to support Brambles Digital Operation’s activities up to 30% travel.
- Must be able to travel Internationally if needed.
AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING
- IoT Solution operation Stage Gate, determine if solution is operationally ready for different stages
- 3PL vendor selection and performance measurement
- SOP ownership

QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical degree with experience/exposure in an Operation, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environments
- SOP development, Implementation/TT&T, and Control experience
- Strong Excel skills using features like pivot tables and other advanced functions.
- Strong data analysis experience
- Experience in new product/solution/equipment launches as user or provider.
- Customer-facing experience
- Proven history of supporting customers both remotely and in person.
- Have flexible work schedule to support activities in other countries/time zones.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with digital device development, testing, improvement, or implementation.
- Manufacturing, Operation, or Supply Chain experience.
- Process time studies and cost analysis experience
EXPERIENCE
2+ years where SOP Development, Implementation, and Control was a responsibility.
2+ years in a customer support role with direct communication with customer.
