The Digital Workforce Center of Excellence (CoE) is a global internal consulting team with high visibility; responsible for leading critical business transformation, reengineering and diagnostic efforts throughout Consumer and Community Bank (CCB), with the ultimate goal of improving both operating and financial performance. Typical projects are commissioned by senior leaders throughout CCB focusing on disruptive innovations and driving transformations to adopt into digital operating models. Typical engagements (not exhaustive) include:
  • Business Transformations
  • Process Assessment and Process Design for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) Or Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Operations Strategy
  • Strategic Planning
  • Organizational Assessment
  • Operating Models
  • Product Development Support

As a Vice President (VP), you will partner with senior management across CCB Operations to prioritize, lead, and execute strategic initiatives in the digital transformation space leveraging process and/or technology tools such as RPA, ML, AI, Lean, Six Sigma, Etc. You will oversee multiple work streams and collaborate with teams to build hypotheses, conduct analyses, and develop executive-level presentations to share key findings and recommendations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple client engagements by owning day-to-day project management, delivery, and coaching to client teams as recommendations are implemented
  • Collaborate with clients to scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and quantify potential bottom-line financial impact
  • Apply new technologies to transform business operations; re-imagine business models leveraging modern industry innovations
  • Advise and influence senior leaders and business executives on key business decisions and major change initiatives; serve as a catalyst for change management
  • Strong executive presence while leading interview campaigns, working sessions, and senior client presentations
  • Identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues as needed
  • Develop junior team members both formally and informally, including serving as a mentor

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • Ability to lead projects teams independently while delivering high quality results on time and budget
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to work across all levels of the business; interacting with front line associates to senior leadership
  • Presenting, communicating ideas, and influencing decisions to executives and senior managers within the firm
  • Expert at solving complex business problems and providing innovative solutions in a collaborative environment with creative problem solving skills to understand each component and the "big picture"
  • Experience working with technology development; innovations such as block chain, bit coins, fin tech solutions, robotics/RPA and/or and other emerging cognitive technologies
  • Process engineering and management consulting background working across different domains/industries
  • Proven ability to frame projects and establish required governance to move projects forward. You will have to engage appropriate resources from within the team, from the line areas specifically sponsoring the project, and potentially external consultants or other support areas with the Firm

Preferred Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have an MBA and 6+ years' experience at a management consulting firm or in an internal consulting, process re-engineering or change management role (or 8+ years of experience in one of these roles in lieu of an MBA)
  • Desired expertise in robotics/automation, quality or strategy financial services
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience required with formal Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Product development experience with exposure to Agile software development, scrum methodologies

Ability to travel as needed (range: 25% to 50%; will vary by project)
