Fresh Start Funding LLC dba OpenWallet is a rapidly growing company that provides financial services to attorneys across the United States. Our mission is to make attorneys affordable and accessible to everyone by providing a financing solution to law firms for prospective clients who can’t afford to pay up-front legal fees.

We are looking for a detail-minded team player to work in our account processing department. You will be responsible for reviewing new accounts submitted for financing, setting up those accounts in our system, and following up with attorneys to resolve deficiencies.

This is an IN PERSON job opportunity, and our office is conveniently located near the intersection of Loop 202 Red Mountain and 101 Pima freeways.

DUTIES:

• Working a daily queue of new and pending accounts, maintaining an organized and efficient approach to approving qualified accounts, and following up to cure deficiencies in pending accounts
• Reviewing accounts that have been pre-approved in the company’s software system to confirm that all requirements are met
• Conducting a more detailed review of accounts that were not pre-approved by examining income verifications, contracts, and other consumer documents
• Accurately entering client information in our software system, setting up payment plans and confirming automated payment details
• Communicating with attorneys and their staff about account status and deficiencies to move pending accounts to approval
• Completing detail-driven side projects that have clearly defined steps and deliverables

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to systems and processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly telephone manner
• Strong written communication skills to draft professional emails to lawyers and their staff
• Typing speed of 60WPM or better
• Team mentality and an ability to contribute to a fun, mission-oriented work environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Prior customer service experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree or equivalent certification preferred
• Prior experience in financial services or loan processing is a plus but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

This is a full-time position with company health benefits and 401K plan participation after a 90-day probation period, 80 hours of combined PTO and sick time pay, plus six paid holidays. Pay rate will depend on experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
