Producer – XO Marriage
XO Marriage is a non-profit organization headquartered in Southlake, TX. Through XO Marriage Conferences, podcasts, online content, and marriage-enriching resources, our mission is to see the marriage rate increase, the divorce rate drop, and a generation of children set up for success.
Summary of Position
This role is a part of the creative team and reports to the Creative Director. The Producer oversees the production of XO Marriage podcasts and other high-level content produced by XO. They will work closely with podcast hosts & other talent to strategize content ideas and show growth. The Producer will also work closely with the creative producer and the studio manager to make sure everything is prepared for each shoot.
This individual is highly organized and handles themselves well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. They have excellent communication skills and knowledge of podcasting and digital media. They are confident in themselves and their work but are never afraid to learn something new.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate XO Now shoot logistics and production of in-house podcasts, YouTube, XO Now, and off-site shoots.
- Propose fresh ideas for podcast and video content.
- Strategize with show hosts on content ideas & seasonal content.
- Coordinate and manage video and podcast production process from start to finish.
- Coordinate podcast host and guest recording schedules.
- Coordinate and organize shoot schedules & podcast ad recordings.
- Manage day-to-day of Monday.com organization for shows.
- Write titles & descriptions for podcast episodes.
- Assists in other areas as required.
General Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in meeting task deadlines/timelines.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of growing podcasts' success
- Servant leader
- General video editing and audio editing skills. (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Proficiency in ProPresenter software.
- Professional discretion in all talent interactions.
- Monday.com (preferred) or project management software
- Positive attitude and approach to problem-solving.
- Calm and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- High organizational skills.
- Physically able to handle long shoot days and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Strong computer literacy. (Mac OS, Gmail, Word, Excel, Slack, Google Doc. etc.)
- College Degree(s) and/or experience are seen as a plus, but not required.
- Believer in Christ whose morals and values align with the mission and vision of XO Marriage
