Job description

We are looking for a Product Line Manager to work for one of our clients an electronics manufacturer, located in Hauppauge, NY.

This is a permanent, full-time job.

In this role you will be responsible for the new product development of the assigned product line and its revenue growth, as well as managing the portfolio of products.

The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience in product management, design engineering, and sales engineering in a manufacturing environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximize revenue, profit and margin for assigned product lines.
• Recommend and execute long-range strategies consistent with the market, business, and corporate goals and objectives.
• Capture customer market needs and problems and then translate them into recommended solutions addressing market requirements for new product development
• Responsible for each stock keeping unit within the product line, ensuring it’s financially justified. Lead the product review process to rationalize unprofitable products.
• Assist in the business case analysis, return on investment (ROI) for research & development investments in accordance with roadmap priorities.
• Define product pricing strategies, ensuring future costs, and pricing meet market and internal margin demands. Monitors to ensure all products and projects meet the specific objectives, taking correction actions as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
