As a Product Specialist, you’ll join our product support team supporting customers and dealership personnel to enhance the customer and employee experience. The person in this role is responsible for executing Platte Valley’s E3 Engage strategy to enhance the customer experience by educating customers on how to best utilize their equipment. They also provide internal and external product training as well as performing in-field equipment optimizations. • Develops and executes the plan to improve the customer buying experience by working with customers to educate them on product features at time of delivery
• Uses Handle to plan customer interactions as well as track success and customer feedback
• Communicates with Account Managers regarding customer interactions
• Coordinates the execution of the dealership’s John Deere Precision Ag Strategy
• Plans and executes internal product trainings to keep all departments up-to-date on the John Deere Precision Ag Solution.
• Plans and executes external product trainings to educate customers on current John Deere technologies
• Creates digital tools that help customers understand how to operate their equipment
• Assists with in-field equipment optimizations as part of the E3 program
• Ensures understanding of John Deere Precision Ag solutions in the sales, service, and parts departments
• Provides solutions-based business consulting services to customers (i.e. advising customers on optimizing performance, reducing costs, operation efficiencies, etc.)

• Experience providing effective step-by-step instructions to internal and external customers
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
• High School Diploma, GED; Associates degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle/pass company driving requirements are two must-have items for this position.
