Production and Inventory Accountant

Sugarman of Vermont, located in Hardwick, is actively seeking an individual with accounting experience. Duties include but are not be limited to:

Accounts Payable

• Enter bills
• Enter credit card charges
• Obtain all pack slips and relevant paperwork related to expenses
• Perform check runs for payment
• Expense review and reporting
• Scan and maintain digital AP records

Accounts Receivable

• Invoice customers via portals, email, or other methods
• Receive and apply payments to account
• Collections and customer interactions regarding payment
• AR review and AR reporting
• Scan and maintain AR record retention

Production & Throughput

• Enter daily production records into Fishbowl
• Data entry and review of plant production metrics

Inventory

• Maintain empty drums list
• Assisting or leading the monthly counting process
• Reporting on inventory changes and impact, establish root cause when needed

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years
• Accounting Systems Knowledge: 2 years preferred
• Office productivity programs: 2 years preferred
• Skillset: Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Professionalism when dealing with customers as well as coworkers and team
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow duties and tasks
• Strong data entry skills
• Education: Associates degree in accounting or related field, or comparable work experience, or a mix.
