Production Lead/Supervisor – Window Trim Kit Department

Immediate start available!

Job Type: Full Time (plus overtime when needed)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Overview: WDI Company is a growing, local woodworking company looking for a full time employee for our window department. Job knowledge is a plus but we will always train the right candidate. Pay is based on experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience with a diverse array of machines and become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team. Responsibilities and Duties:

· Prepare lumber for stain and finish (pulling and cutting materials to various widths and lengths)

· Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to the team

· Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

· Train, oversee, and coach employees on how to safely operate machinery and follow procedures

· Monitor results and provide feedback on performance and progress

· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

· Enforce safety guidelines and company standards

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong safety awareness; quality and detail oriented; mechanically inclined

· Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision

· Adaptability to accept changes in job duties and eagerness to learn and apply new knowledge

· Ability to read tape measure preferred

· Compliance with all OSHA regulations

· Organizational and leadership abilities

· Communication and interpersonal skills

· Problem solving skills

· Experience as Supervisor or similar role

· Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Physical Requirements:

· Working with mechanical parts and machines

· Ability to be on feet and continuously moving

· Lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must wear eye protection and hearing protection
