Position Overview:
Scoular is recruiting a Production Operator to join our team to produce an innovative protein source made from Barley. Candidates will be part of a team that is making product for the petfood and aquaculture industries while creating a clean, environmental-friendly protein source.

Job Responsibilities:
The Production Operator role is responsible for monitoring the safe and sanitary operation of plant equipment through the use of computer controls and food safety and quality inspections while staying within set production schedules and operating standards. The individual in this role will achieve effective performance of plant equipment while troubleshooting maintenance needs.

Requirements

Minimum:
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience with plant operations and controls as well as laboratory equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
Candidates must be willing to work various shifts and schedules, including overtime.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills are preferred
