The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and manage personnel and resources in order to increase productivity for the safe, efficient, and effective production of quality products. Meet defined production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and scrap targets; as well as quality standards. Drive Continuous Improvement activities in his/her department and throughout the plant.
The following challenges await you:
- Direct and motivate production workforce to produce quality products.
- Coordinate and ensure material flows smoothly from department to department on schedule to assure customers receive products when needed.
- Guide and reviews Supervisors' employee performance reviews and advises Production Manager in accurately evaluating an employee's performance.
- Monitor and maintain departmental inventory levels and, as needed, submits purchase requisitions to ensure adequate amounts of raw material on hand, as well as, consumptions of processed material in other departments.
- Coordinate WIP inventory.
- Responsible for the execution of production schedules.
- Trouble-shoots product defects and implements corrective action(s).
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance for department.
- Support Company safety program and ensures employees follow safety rules and requirements.
Your Profile:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5-years manufactuing experience.
- Must have knowledge in ERP system such as SAP and possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
