Greetings from HonorVet Technologies.

We are looking for assemblers or Production Workers in the Baton Rouge LA location.

Assists daily in the job functions of assembling products according to clients'/customers' requests through Service Orders.

The Assembler position is responsible for assembling products, operating machinery, and using hand tools to manufacture parts that meet required specifications.

And any other duties assigned by the supervisor or lead.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprints specification and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifies supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock levels. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of practical experience with proven skills in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow proficient instructions with the assembly of products.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $15.26 per hour
