2nd Shift - 3pm-1am - 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, must be okay with Overtime. Overtime paid after 40 hours.

**MUST be able to train on 1st shift 7am-5pm Monday-Friday. - 10-hr shifts.

Summary Of Position: Maintaining furnace four (4) operations during work shift as directed. The essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Principal Duties and Functions:

1. Follow proper tapping procedures to get proper flow of molten aluminum for the tipper.

2. Monitoring the tipper operation to ensure no spillage, run-off, or over-filling.

3. Monitor the tipper to ensure there is no water getting into the empty mold which could cause popping.

4. Ensure product stickers in the molds are removed to prevent over-filling and spills.

5. Ensure there is proper water flow for the filled molds to be cooled enough to allow the product to fall out of the molds.

6. Ensure the right size of product is being made (cone, pyramid, shot, etc.).

7. Ensure that the proper procedures are followed when plugging the tap hole.

8. Ensure the tipper area is kept clean and slag is removed.

9. Enforce all safety rules and regulations as set forth by company policies.

10. Maintain, and complete pass down reporting between shifts.

11. Maintain all required paperwork to ensure it is complete, up-to-date, and accurate.

12. Follow all directions as may be given by management. (i.e., President, General Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager or their Representative.)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is required to stand on concrete for long periods of time. The employee will have long periods of sitting in the equipment being used for charging the furnace. The employee is also required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach above the head with hands and arms, and will climb requiring some balance. The employee must lift and move varying weights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures of both heat and cold.

Work Environment:

The work environments herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the principal functions and duties of his/her job; (1) While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near open flames, moving machinery and equipment, moving mechanical parts, and in outside weather conditions. (2) Employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold. (3) The noise level in the work environment is usually slight to moderate.

Position Requirements:

1. Ability to work well with management, supervisors, other employees, visitors, and customers.

2. Some administration skills are helpful.

3. Some mechanical aptitude, equipment familiarization, and general math are helpful.

4. Flexible work in different jobs and shifts as needed and Overtime (OT) as required.

5. Occasional moderate to heavy lifting is required
