Program Coordinator, Center for Aging - Tulane Medical Center
Job description
Program Coordinator will be responsible for crafting, writing, editing and updating the webpage content for the interdisciplinary PhD program in aging studies, involving a strong understanding of scientific content. In addition, this person will coordinate and assist with the graduate program by working closely with the program director, the program council and the program recruitment committee. The Program Coordinator will also assist in the administrative and financial functions of the Aging Center program.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWorking knowledge and familiarity with website management, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, BANNER, Blackboard, word processor, database and spreadsheet
Knowledge of funding agencies and grant processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills in an academic and business setting
Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently in administrating multiple projects, compiling reports
Knowledge of budgetary processes and reports
Ability to pay strong attention to detail
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree
OR
High school diploma or equivalent and four year's directly related experience
Master's degree
Four year's events planning/coordination experience
