Part-time (up to 20 hrs.)

Duties/Responsibilities

Support planning and coordination of a program (food for friends) within the synagogue and Jewish community

Assisting in managing the budget for special and routine events, manage communications through media relations, social media etc.

Attending committee meetings

Maintaining the Rabbi's office needs and shul office by sending out reminders, responding to emails and answering calls, ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)

Compiling and sending bulk mailings

Help build positive relations within the team and members

Schedule and organize logistics for meal pick ups and delivery

Prepare paperwork/ads and order materials required for the program

Keep updated records and create reports.

Support growth and program development

Requirements and skills

Knowledge of program management and development procedures

Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office

Familiarity with office equipment, intercom systems and fax machines

Ability to work with diversity

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and efficient

Creative thinking

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• El Paso, TX 79912: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
