PROGRAMMING SPECIALIST ASSOCIATE - FT. HUACHUCA, SIERRA VISTA, AZ - SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE REQUIRED!!!!!
Member of the Enterprise Test and Evaluation (T&E) Team responsible for providing Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) and Department of Defense (DoD) with automation support for testing enterprise services, primarily Enterprise Resource Planning (ERA), business systems. Works closely with customers to document current operating procedures and support their projected operational needs. May serve as an expert in aspects of software design, development, and maintenance and will support multiple development teams and systems. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Assists in the formulations of procedures and best practices for users of applications and systems.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
- Secret clearance or the ability to get a Secret clearance.
- Requires an Associate degree; a minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience; or at least 6 years of experience. Degree/education should be in Computer Science, Information Management or related field. Related certifications in specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
- Must be agile and flexible in meeting customer requirements, including helping define new requirements requiring significant coordination and planning.
- Must be able to understand and develop basic programs/scripts in Java, C, JavaScript, VBscript or other programing languages.
- Must be agile and flexible to quickly learn and become proficient in the use of new software applications and tools.
- Must have practical and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in systems administration.
- Ability to read and analyze network traffic.
- Proficient with MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE).
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate authentication.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Security such as McAfee Endpoint Security.
- Ability to diagnose issues related to communications and enterprise security measures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using programming skills to create/modify/update/document MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) scripts supporting automated testing.
- Using MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) automated test tools to perform testing of enterprise systems.
- Following Agile Scrum practices.
- Planning, executing, data collecting, analyzing, and reporting to evaluate and report on the Enterprise services system under test (SUT), and research and development for enterprise testing efforts.
- Taking periodic mandatory training courses provided through the agency, required by statute, regulation, DoD, or DISA policy.
- Developing, supporting, and integrating best practices and technology standards.
