Baymar is seeking an Engineer for a Project Engineer position for our PMO. This position can be 100% remote; our local office is based in Tucson, AZ. Our PMO team is on a 9/80 schedule, which is a schedule that allows every other Friday off with a commitment of 80 hours per pay period.

Daily, this person will:

• The Project Engineer will report to the Program Manager and specialize in new client introduction projects. This person will need a technical background and/or education and ultimately what we are prioritizing is project management experience.
• The Project Engineer will help manage new client projects down to a task level; help build schedules, update schedules, and report on project status to the Program Manager. They would also keep the project team aligned on goals and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell and speak to Baymar Solutions capabilities as a highly functioning Engineering Services team that specializes in

Medical Devices and IVD Solutions for our clients.

• To plan, scope and deliver projects.
• To ensure a plan is created and maintained to deliver projects within the agreed criteria. This includes deliverables, costs, development and implementation.
• To manage multiple projects concurrently as required.
• To establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the project output is achieved
• To provide progress reports on all projects at the required frequency.
• To lead the project team and coordinate program management involvement as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Must be comfortable in a customer facing position; to create and present presentations.
• Bachelor of Science Degree (Engineering Degree Highly Preferred)
• Ability and/or experience using a Project Management tool
• MS Project or SmartSheet, ClickUp would be a bonus
• Proficiency with Office 365; Google Workspace experience is a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively, with tact and diplomacy, both orally and in writing, at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
• Able to provide guidance to project contributors

Work Conditions and Expectations

Schedule:

• Baymar’s PMO has an optional 9x80 schedule, otherwise this is a first shift position, coinciding with normal operating hours of Monday to Friday on a weekly basis.

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a home office environment that routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, wireless or wired headsets, and IT peripherals.
• As Baymar Solutions is an organization that operates in a highly regulated environment, employees must complete internal or customer training in a timely manner as a requirement to continue employment and satisfy FDA guidelines.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to operate a personal computer and communicate via telephone and/or video meeting technology; give oral presentations. Occasional domestic travel may be requested by leadership.

Security Responsibilities and Intellectual Property:

• Must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. These procedures are detailed in the employee handbook and prospective employees are required to sign an Intellectual Property

Agreements and Mutual NDA upon offer acceptance. Responsible usage of security devices and technology to access physical business premises.
