• Manage all aspects of horizontal infrastructure projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out. Prior experience managing, designing, and constructing water infrastructure projects (waterlines, tanks, pump stations, wells, etc.) will be given preference.
• Develop and control project scope and review and coordinate the preparation of construction documents.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with project stakeholders.
• Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling changes to the contract documents, monthly valuations, drawing submissions, change orders, substitutions, etc.
• Document the status of the project, including all meetings and correspondence, as a means to properly communicate with the project team and develop the project documents.
• Lead and facilitate project team and client meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field required.
• 5+ years' of project management and concurrent field construction experience.
• Licensed professional (engineer or architect) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) required.
• Experience in water resources projects such as stormwater quality, diversion, and drainage projects.
• Experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) processes.
• Work experience in project planning and development.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop, control, and maintain project scope, budget, and schedule.

• Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery
• Design-Bid-Build project delivery
• Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices
• Knowledge of Greenbook and AWWA Standards
