Jack in the Box Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager Marketing Communications. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Jack in the Box marketing strategy by managing the development and implementation of projects as they relate to in-restaurant experiences, technology, and overall Customer Experience of our guests.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to the strategic vision for the Marketing Communications team, prioritizing efforts related to the Customer Experience. Projects include the execution of internal communications, point-of-purchase, menu boards, packaging, uniforms, and other marketing channels as applicable. Creates project plans and roadmaps with clear objectives, milestones and deliverables that align with the vision.

Leads initiatives from inception to execution, with clear measures of success along the way for proof of concept, market testing and system deployment. Partners with cross-functional teams consisting of IT, Operations, Restaurant Development, Product Marketing and Consumer Insights to plan and implement initiatives. Keeps management informed of project status, successes, and failures.

Manages the ongoing generation of new ideas to support the overall customer experience. Develops and presents business cases for new programs or initiatives which focus on enhancing the customer journey and brand image through the overarching marketing strategy. Maintains thorough knowledge of consumer and industry trends to generate new ideas that strengthen Jack in the Boxs competitive status in the industry and persuade business partners to share in your ideas.

Supports the analysis and overall evaluation of projects and programs in reviewing test results, including tracking and analyzing sales and financial information, developing conclusions and preparing reports of findings. Consistently evaluates, identifies potential conflicts and provides recommendations and adjustments as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field; PMP/PRINCE II Certification preferred.

Experience 4+ years related project management experience for innovation, operations, marketing, or technology. Franchise experience preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Proven track record of managing complex innovation, technology and/or marketing projects.

Requires understanding of business principles beyond innovation and marketing including strategy development, finance, technology, and operations.

Demonstrates a passion for exploring new ideas and learning new things.

Proficient knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a personal computer. Ability to travel 0-15% of the time as business needs require.

The range for this position is $76,600 - $106,600and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
