Life Enriching Communities, one of the nation's leaders in senior living communities, is seeking a
Project Manager.
Are you comfortable leading and/or assisting in all aspects of the planning, budgeting, oversight, and execution of various types and sizes of capital projects? Are you familiar with both new construction and renovation or maintenance of existing spaces? Is completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards something you take pride in? If so, then we'd love to talk with you!
Life Enriching Communities has a full time opening for a Project Manager. This position will be responsible for the planning and organizing of construction projects, from start to finish.
Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline or Construction Management with significant work experience. Proven work experience history may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
- 5-10 years of previous experience in a directly related role as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator/Manager, or Project Engineer.
- Strong computer skills. Ability to utilize MS Word and Excel for project budgeting and material tracking.
- Understanding of schedules and ability to read a standard Gantt bar chart and familiarity of critical path method schedules.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Communication skills to address vendors, executive and frontline associates, residents and partners at facilities.
- Ability to manage a project from concept and drawing development through bidding and contract award to construction and closeout.
- Must be able to develop contracts, budgets, bid packages and buyout projects.
- Aptitude to learn various software for project management needs.
