Job Description:

The Clinical Psychologist is a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, nursing, and other disciplines to provide holistic or comprehensive medical and counseling services to patients. They interview patients and give diagnostic tests. Additionally, the Clinical Psychologist provides individual, family or group psychotherapy, and collaborates with the behavioral health team to develop and implement behavior modification programs, with treatment and intervention programs that patients can understand and comply with.

It is comprised of inpatient adult psychiatric treatment, inpatient senior psychiatric treatment, inpatient adult detoxification, and an inpatient residential program for substance use treatment. :Board Certified in PsychiatryMedical or osteopathic doctorLicensed as MD or DO in the state of Colorado or can obtain

Physical Requirements:

Ongoing need for employee to see and assess various nonverbal cues used in patient diagnosis/assessment in order to understand and develop treatment options.- and -Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, as well as hear and respond quickly to emergent needs or issues that may arise with patients.
