Psychiatric LPN - Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
Job description
Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services in the following position:
- Full-time LPN - Adult Mental Health Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) (Davis County) - 40 hours per week

Classification and Schedule
These positions are all classified as full-time or part-time, non-exempt.
The assigned schedule varies by position and is outlined in the job posting on the DBH Employment page.
It is also preferred that the successful candidates for clinic-based/residential nursing positions have some flexibility to help provide coverage, when necessary, which may include working either a day shift from 5 am - 5 pm, night shift from 5 pm - 5 am, as well as be on the weekend rotation.
Compensation
The successful candidate(s) will be offered a base rate based on post-licensure experience.
The starting hourly rate for new licensed practical nurses is $26.75. The exact starting rate for LPNs at DBH is calculated using the starting rate + 1% per year for each year of post-licensure experience.
Nursing positions/shifts in the residential programs at DBH are eligible for shift differentials during swing, graveyard, and weekend shifts. All hours worked during the swing shift (3 pm - 11 pm) are eligible for a 2% differential. Hours worked during graveyard (11 pm - 7 am) and during the weekend are eligible for a 15% differential.

Required Experience
Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Utah.
DBH utilizes an electronic health record system, so computer literacy is a must for employment.
All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background screening.
Preference will be given for applicants who are fluent in Spanish, but this is not a requirement for employment in this opening.
