Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Point Breeze

• Start Date: Late August 2023

• Hours: 21 Hours/Week over Two Days, 7:30 AM - 6 PM. Ideally, this family would love a nanny to join them Mondays and Wednesdays, but flexible to have a second day be Friday as well

• Hourly Rate: $26-28/hour

• Two Children: 5 & 3 Years Old

• COVID Shot Preferred

• Paid Vacation: 2 days of the nanny's choice and 2 days of the family's choice; all major holidays that fall on a workday.

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: This fantastic family of four is seeking an active, energetic, and loving nanny to join them for the next few years! Mom is at the office two days a week and is hoping for an incredible part-time nanny to take over while she’s working. The 5YO loves to play outside, enjoys reading, and is particularly fond of anything with wheels. His observant 3YO little brother is busy keeping up with him– these two are tiny best friends in the making! In the fall, both boys will be attending preschool from 9 AM-noon and will need the nanny to drive them there and pick them up (15 min drive). When the boys are not at school, this family utilizes their yard to play in or can easily walk on over to Frick Park to enjoy a change of scenery. The family has a membership to the zoo and encourages visits to the libraries, playgrounds, and museums in the area. After a busy morning of preschool (during the school year) or outside play (during the summer), the 3YO takes a long, refreshing nap and the 5YO either naps or has quiet time. On those gray days that call for coziness, they’ll never turn down a snuggle and books on the couch. They also enjoy visiting Emily's parents who live nearby and are available to help out should the need arise. These parents would like their nanny to help out with light dinner prep for the family, the children’s laundry, tidying up, vacuuming, and washing dishes.

The Ideal Nanny Would Be...Dependable, consistent, and fun, you envision joining this duo on all their outside adventures come rain or shine! You’re trustworthy, patient, and active, and can easily demonstrate confidence and calm. You’re looking for a position for the next 3-4 years. You are also a safe driver with a clean record, as this family will need the nanny to drive to and from preschool. Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
