The Certified Pulmonary Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients requiring diagnostic testing in an organized and systematic manner according to department policy and standards.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Vocational / Technical Degree or Associate’s (Preferred)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified or Registered Pulmonary Function Technician credential OR Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with Maryland state licensure (Required)
Experience and Skills
- 1 year of Pulmonary Function Tech or Respiratory Therapy experience (Required)
- Required Skills: Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Strong Written Communications Skills, General
- Clerical Skills, Basic Computer Skills, Excellent Organizational Skills, Strong Customer Services Skills
