Billitier Electric, a leading Rochester based electrical construction firm needs a Purchasing Agent. This position requires an organized, highly motivated, self-starter to oversee day-to-day material purchasing and the operations of the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receive purchase requisitions and communicating directly with field foremen and project managers to coordinate the purchasing of material and tools for jobs.
• Handling the majority material ordering with for all company projects through company purchasing programs (KOJO, Sage) as requested by field personnel.
• Management, tracking and maintenance of a large tool inventory.
• Work alongside warehouse staff for shipping, receiving, and warehousing of incoming freight for local and regional jobsites.
• Coordination of deliveries to job sites and managing delivery personnel.
• Responsibility for the overall organization of the warehouse and the property including materials and equipment.
• Schedule equipment and large vehicles as required for use by Foremen in field
• Assist in fleet vehicle management including scheduling maintenance, vehicle upkeep, accident review & other miscellaneous tasks.
• Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

At least 3-5 years relevant experience in a purchasing position or construction warehouse position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Certification for forklift operation is required.
• Must have good computer and smartphone skills.
• Experience with using Sage Timberline software is a plus but not required.
• Experience with using KOJO software also a plus.
• CDL license is a plus but not required.
• Must have clean driver's license record.
