Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) is a public school district over 100 years old that is committed to “Every Child, Every Day.” The Wellness Coordinator VISTA will support PUSD staff in prioritizing their health and wellness to protect them from COVID-19 and other illnesses. Oftentimes, educators take better care of their students than they do themselves. This position will focus on helping staff establish and maintain healthy habits while also assisting with any lingering COVID-related needs.
The Wellness Coordinator will work closely with HR to maximize benefits available to staff through their health insurance provider. Additionally, this position will reach out to community resources to bring preventative health measures to campuses. The position will work to develop events and campaigns to boost morale and help to unify the district. Additionally, this position will help staff in accessing needed mental health resources to address needs like anxiety, stress, grief, and time management.
