Description:

West Gate Village in Brewton, AL is currently accepting applications for a QA Nurse (RN) within our long-term care facility specializing in geriatrics. Working in a Nursing Rehabilitation setting allows time for one-on-one care and getting to know each resident.

Qualifications:

• An active, Registered Nurse.
• Experience with the elderly population is preferred but not a requirement.
• A drug screen and background check will be required.
• Great attendance is required.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must be very organized due to the extensive amount of paperwork.
• Must be a self-starter and very motivated.
• Must have several years of Nursing experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• This nurse will keep track of all infections and antibiotic use, including antibiotic stewardship.
• To act as a liaison and representative of the residents and staff with the infections and medical needs.
• This position will require someone who will be flexible with shifts and/or hours.
• Must have the resident’s best interest in mind at all times and abide by the federal and state regulations.
• Be a part of the Quality Assurance team.
